Techrem manufactures a variety of Handsets used in the commercial business sector.

We are probably best known for our range of Interactive Audience Response Handsets including those designed and manufactured for the use of studio television audiences of Who Wants to be a Millionaire.

Also designed and manufactured in our R & D facility in Nuneham Courtenay, were the first commercial CREDIT CARD-size voting handsets; two versions were initially made, one with LED and the other with a 7 Segment LED display.

In addition to our standard range of Interactive Audience Response Handsets, we are able to design products to customers specifications. Custom Audience Response systems we have produced range from a simple Yes / No two button system to a multi-key product with LED or LCD displays.

Our 2 way proprietary protocols allow Data and Text to be sent both to and received from our handsets.

Our IR and RF technology has been installed in prestigious places including The Palace of Westminster and Royal Navy Submarines.

Voting systems based on our designs are used world-wide and, using independent test laboratories, we can certify custom products for use in any country in the world.
